LIAJ Publishes Survey Results on Approaches toward Enhancing Equity Values

23 March 2016

The Life Insurance Association of Japan, the LIAJ (Chairman: Yoshinobu Tsutsui, President of Nippon Life Insurance Co.) has been continuously conducting surveys on approaches toward enhancing equity values from the position of shareholders and investors for 42 years since fiscal 1974.

The LIAJ expects that equity values will be enhanced by promoting communication between companies and investors and by sharing their awareness of the issues among them, which eventually contributes to revitalization of the stock market as a whole.

From this perspective, the LIAJ conducted a questionnaire survey on consciousness and efforts of companies and investors again this year, and made requests on improvements and approaches toward enhancing equity values.
