Publication of "LIAJ Social Responsibility Report 2015"

The Life Insurance Association of Japan, the LIAJ (Chairman: Koichiro Watanabe, President of The Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company) has published the "LIAJ Social Responsibility Report 2015" which introduces activities in life insurance industry regarding social responsibility (SR).
In order to fulfill social roles and responsibilities of life insurance business, and to target the sound development of the business, the LIAJ promotes various initiatives from the viewpoint of consumers.
Especially, in fiscal 2014, the LIAJ has advanced efforts to promote active participation by women and to raise awareness for health promotion under the theme: "Empowering the Next Generation" so as to help create a sustainable and vibrant society for the next generation.
In order that more people would come to know about such roles of the life insurance industry and activities of the LIAJ, the LIAJ has now published "LIAJ Social Responsibility Report 2015", mainly summarizing activities in fiscal 2014.
This Report will be provided broadly to consumer organizations, consumer administration and consumers across Japan. By utilizing the Report, the LIAJ is willing to deepen the communication with consumers and provide an environment in which life insurances are further accessible for them.
Also, please note that this Report has been published every year since fiscal 2007.
