New LIAJ Chair-elect

At the Board meeting held on 19 April 2019, The Life Insurance Association of Japan (LIAJ) nominated Hiroshi Shimizu, President of Nippon Life Insurance Co., as LIAJ Chair-elect to serve the next annual term. He will formally be elected as the 57th Chair at the Board meeting scheduled after the LIAJ's Extra General Meeting, which is slated for 19 July 2019. The Association is currently chaired by Seiji Inagaki, President of The Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, Limited.
